ESCMID Collaborative Centres: Call for Expression of Interest
ESCMID invites departments of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases throughout Europe to apply for the status of an ESCMID Collaborative Centre. |

This is a unique opportunity to be listed on the ESCMID website and to present your staff, services and main interests to colleagues and the public, say Robert Read and Gunnar Kahlmeter. In addition, Collaborative Centres will welcome ESCMID Observers, the second part of this initiative to be launched by the end of this year.

New Managing Director of ESCMID Executive Office in Basel |

Peter A. Cologna has started as the new Managing Director of ESCMID. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and Economics and has extensive experience in healthcare and life sciences, with both non-profit organizations and industry. On 1 November he officially takes over from Peter Schoch, PhD, who has led the Executive Office in Basel for exactly nine years. We wish him much success in his new role. |
We would like to thank Peter Schoch for his many valuable contributions to our Society and wish him all the best for the future. |
