FEMS 2009 - 3rd Congress of European Microbiologists
Microbes and Man- interdependence and future challenges

The Federation of European Microbiological Societies – FEMS is pleased to announce that the 3rd Congress of European Microbiologists is to be held in Göteborg, Sweden and will be hosted by the five Nordic member societies of FEMS: the Swedish Society for Microbiology, the Norwegian Society for Microbiology, the Finnish Society of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Microbiology, the Danish Microbiological Society, and the Microbiological Society of Iceland.
Key areas to be addressed include:

- Biofilms in ecology and medicine
- Clinical microbiology and pathogenesis
- Eukaryotic microbes
- Marine microbiology
